DealUp Terms of Use

By creating an account or using DealUp, you agree to these Terms of Use. DealUp is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.

DealUp is operated by Hongjie Liu, an individual based in China.

DealUp is an accountability app that lets users create challenges, invite friends, share public challenge pages, submit proof, review outcomes, and share results. We may add, remove, or update features over time.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and managing activity under your account. You may not impersonate another person or create misleading accounts.

You keep ownership of the content you upload, including profile photos, covers, proof uploads, comments, public posts, and result shares. By uploading content to DealUp, you grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service.

You may not use DealUp to create, upload, request, or encourage content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, violent, hateful, deceptive, coercive, or gambling-like. Custom forfeits must stay within local law and our community rules.

We may review reported content, public activity, comments, proof, and account behavior to enforce these Terms. We may remove content, limit visibility, suspend features, or terminate accounts when safety or abuse concerns arise.

You are responsible for what you choose to make public in areas like Explore. Public content may be visible to other users and may be discussed, shared, or reported by them.

DealUp may use notifications, photos, microphone access, and location access when you use features that require them. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.

DealUp may offer paid subscriptions, including DealUp Pro, billed through the Apple App Store where available. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings.

You can request account deletion from inside the app or by contacting support@dealupapp.com. Deletion may remove your profile, uploaded media, social graph, and public content, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or abuse-prevention reasons.

DealUp is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not provide medical, mental health, addiction-treatment, legal, or financial advice, and we do not guarantee any specific personal outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DealUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create safety risk, or misuse the platform in a way that harms other users or the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of laws principles, unless another law is required by your local consumer protections.
